Clash Royale Season 49 'Evolution Origins' Update Patch Notes

Another month has come, signaling the start of a fresh season in Clash Royale. This time around, Season 49 is called Evolution Origins and takes inspiration from the Card Evolution update released on June 19th. In addition to introducing exciting event modes, this July's season will bring new tower skins, emotes, banner box items, and rewards in the Season Shop. Clash Royale Season 49 Evolution Origins July 2023 Update details

The Clash Royale team previously hinted that the battles will occur in a Dark Elixir Cave, which is designed to match the theme of Dark Elixir.

New Tower Skins

At the moment, there are two Tower Skins that have been officially announced for this update. These skins will be accessible through the Pass Royale feature. By reaching Tier 48 in the Gold Tier of Pass Royale, players can unlock the Dark Elixir tower skin. On the other hand, the Rock Guitar tower skin can be obtained by purchasing it from the Shop.

The Dark Elixir tower is average in terms of appearance, as it resembles the elixir but doesn't stand out. However, the one available for purchase has an attractive design and color selection, so it's likely to attract a significant number of buyers.

New Card Evolution: Mortar

As mentioned before, Mortar is set to receive a Card Evolution update. In addition to releasing a powerful shell, the new evolved card will also feature a Goblin that can attack its chosen target, making it even more destructive.

Emotes and Banners

Once more, there will be six fresh emotes that will showcase the newly introduced Evolution cards. Additionally, a collection of 40 completely new banners are now accessible. These include 16 found in the Banner Box, another 16 available for purchase, 4 obtainable from the Season Shop, and finally, an exclusive set of 2 reserved solely for Diamond Pass Royale holders.

Season Shop and Card Boosts

The Season Shop is coming back with great discounts that can be obtained by trading season tokens. Besides the available cards, it's also worth considering investing in banners and emotes. In addition to this, you can purchase Barbarians, Mortar, and Goblin cards individually for 500 tokens each. Furthermore, Wild Shards will also be featured in the shop at a cost of 6000 tokens.

In the Season Shop, you can buy Barbarian Shards up to three times for a minimum of 5,000 tokens per purchase. Each purchase will provide an equal value. This time, instead of the usual three cards, four cards have been selected for boosting: Mortar, Goblins, Musketeer and the Log.

Clash Royale July 2023 Balance Changes

The balance adjustments for this month were implemented last week, but they will still be part of the ongoing season. Despite being relatively small in nature, here is a summary of the card modifications introduced during this season.

Since the Skeletons were considered the least powerful out of the four, it was necessary to make some modifications in order to enhance their usefulness.

• Max count: 6 → 8

Nerfed Cards

Firecracker

This modification is intended to resolve a discrepancy in how she interacts with the Princess Towers.

• First Hit: 0.6s → 0.65s (slower)

Royal Giant Evolution

It's no surprise that the most powerful Evolution card receives a Nerf.

• Hitpoints: 3993 → 3686 at Level 11 (+30% → +20%)
