Children who suffer from poverty are the beneficiaries of our school

The Maa Saraswati Shishu Mandir was opened on the day of Basanta Panchami by my elder brother (Shree:Ramakanta Padhy) Feb 2002 as an experimental school with 7 children living at the Shishu Home. A year later,but due to his personal problem he left surat and as the experiment was found successful I came here and extended it to poor children in the nearby areas. The school since has expanded with two buildings that presently accommodate 700 children, from Pre-Primary to Class 10.

Children who experience aggression, refusal and neglect because of extreme poverty of their families are the beneficiaries of our school, where they receive an all-round promotion. We give special weight-age to girls. As the children are traumatized and highly unsecured due to the daily conflicts and assaults, their concentration power is reduced.With all we provide high education to those who complete studies in our institution from primary to class 10th from our office.
