Visualise how hard your Strava ride will be based on the weather forecast

Medvind ('Tailwind' in Swedish) connects with Strava to help you visualise how hard your latest rides were and to predict how hard those rides will be in the future.

It grabs the latest weather information for the exact latitude and longitude that your ride starts and uses that info to give you a difficulty score out of 100 for the ride.

That information is then used to draw the ride route onto a google map. The route colour is changed based on weather you are headed into the wind or away from the wind which makes it really easy to quickly visualise how hard the ride will be and what sections of the ride will be a challenge.

You can choose to look back at how hard the ride was, use it to calculate how hard the ride will be right now, or use it to predict how hard the ride will be up to 7 days into the future.

There is also a forecast view which will show you the difficulty of a particular ride for the next 7 days. This is really good for picking which days are best to commute to work etc.

I'm a cyclist that commutes to work about 3 days out of 5 and I made this app as I found there wasn't an app out there that helped me pick which days would be best to cycle in each week.

I have plans to extend the app and add features so you can plan routes without having to have cycled them beforehand using google cycling directions and then tweaking these results manually if needed. There are also plans to switch the units to the users preferences on Strava (currently everything is metric).

If that's something you would be interested in then please show the love and give the app a good review. I need motivation as I have been making this on evenings and weekends and my wife is starting to get fed up with me :)

Also if something breaks or doesn't work for you please just let me know rather than giving a bad review and ill try my best to fix it. I'm only one person and I don't have the resources to test on every phone imaginable.
