The foreign direct investment flow in the state has been ever increasing, making it the highest FDI receiver in 2017.

To provide a push to the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s flagship program ‘Make in India’, promote the cause of indigenous manufacturing and further to boost favorable investments for the country, the state of Maharashtra is organizing its Global Investor summit, Magnetic Maharashtra: Convergence 2018.

This summit, Magnetic Maharashtra: Convergence 2018, aims at positioning Maharashtra as the gateway of industrial investment, where the best minds, industries and Government converge to co-create an environment, which brings out the best for the development of Nation as well as promote the interest of all its stakeholders.

The Magnetic Maharashtra: Convergence 2018, is an example of the visionary approach of the Maharashtra Government to walk ahead on the path of sustainable long term growth and comprehensive development, which would, in turn, make India more ready and prepared to compete with the fastest growing economies around the world.

The three days long summit intends to bring together heads of States and Governments, leaders from Political and Corporate World, Policy Makers, Heads of International Institutions and Academicians from all over the world, under one roof to take part in seminars, panel discussions, roundtables and one-to-one meetings to enhance the cause of growth and development and to promote cooperation. Moreover, there will be an exhibition during the summit, giving an opportunity to exhibitors to share their ideas and endorse their establishments on a great platform and to bring them closer to their potential consumers.

The preparations for the Summit are under full swing with a curtain raiser to happen in the first week of January and the summit to take place during mid-February.
