The idea for the app came a few years ago that if possible to create something that will capture the bird call and be able to identify it immediately right then and there. This app works with the highest technology of an online database that contains all information regarding birds including images and sound recordings. This data is able to categorise in various ways and will also be available offline. Users will be able to download information for all the birds in a specific location.

An audio comparison ability that can compare audio recorded by the app user with the online database, and showing info on birds that sounds similar to the recording. Also included is an image comparison ability that uses images saved on the users phone to compare with the online database and displaying info on birds that most closely resembles the image.
