KIIT E-Cell presents KIIT E-Summit '18

The main goal that KIIT Entrepreneurship Cell aims to achieve with the KIIT Entrepreneurship Summit 2018 is to bring people from all over university and pan India having interest in different domains on a common platform, create an open dialogue, engage them and in this process, instill the spirit of learning which will ultimately help in adding a greater workforce of tomorrow.

The main event will comprise of four tracks - Technology, Innovation, Marketing's, and Startup Planet. All the delegates of KIIT Entrepreneurship Summit 2018 will be allowed to choose any of these tracks depending on their choice and throughout the event, all the discussions, workshops, or competitions that they take part in - will be revolving around the respective tracks.

Technology track makes its participants aware of the skills they can learn in the technical domain to be on the same page with the industry. The objective of this track is to bring skill development with respect to current industry trends, and providing a boost to developing sustainable solutions with the skills learnt during the tracks timeline. This will bridge the gap between the technical organization and the college and inculcate the practical applications needed for it.

Hackathon and competitions scheduled will help the students to develop a product or service using the skills they have acquired.

The technology track comprises of a dribble meet up for people who are passionate about designing, a workshop on Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, a workshop on Blockchain, a workshop on Hackdrone, with an objective of creating  innovative commercial and industrial solutions on the DJI industrial drone platform and keynote sessions on recent trends and developments in technology.

The business track aims to test the strategizing and planning capability of participants and help them understand the nitty-gritty of Finance, Marketing, HR and Content Entrepreneurship, providing a holistic approach. This track comprises of a problem solving/case study competition, a business simulation game, hands on wordpress, adwords, workshop on SEO/SMO, and of course a session by Mad Over Marketing ( ask people to have a look at their youtube channel and facebook page/ instagram )… There would be keynote sessions on business, HR , Finance, business of online content etc as well. There would be a session by a popular youtuber as well which comes as  a surprise package .

Startup planet is the track for startup enthusiasts comprising of showcasing products/services, hiring, funding and pitching . 

The innovation track comprises of makovation , an unique kind of hackathon which is scheduled to happen on 24th and 25th of February , will have people from across different branches and domain will come together, collaborate, have productive exchange and build some innovative products. This will happen twice a month starting from 24th-25th of this month. Makovation will be a theme based 24-hours rigorous product building session being coordinated by mentors and team members of E-cell. Makovation will have several checkpoints where the development of participants will be checked. There will be eliminations on these checkpoints. The best products and ideas will get chances of getting incubated, funded or winning prizes worth 50 lacs. The best of the  products or ideas will get incorporated into maker’s lab, an ecell initiative, which would mentor, incubate, help with resources and provide a co-working space and an ecosystem to work in.  There would be a design thinking workshop along with keynote sessions in this track. 

You’ll get to network with speakers, guests, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, leaders from the industry, other startups and also steal your chances of getting hired as an intern or win a ppo in the process.
