About Pool, But Wrong
100 quirky pixel pool puzzles where the rules change every five levels.
I made Pool, but Wrong because apparently normal pool didn't have enough problems.
It starts off reasonably enough.
Aim. Shoot. Sink the colored balls. Black goes last.
Then, every five levels, I change something.
The holes move.
The table tilts.
The cue stick stops behaving like a cue stick.
Gravity bends your shots.
Everything freezes over.
Balls merge.
Magnets appear.
Balls get chained together.
And eventually, yes, I give you a sword.
100 LEVELS. A NEW KIND OF WRONG EVERY FIVE.
There are 100 compact pool puzzles to work through. Every set of five introduces a different mechanic, gives you a little time to figure it out, and then replaces it with something else.
THINGS I HAVE DONE TO POOL
• Moving pockets
• Tilting tables
• Strange cue sticks
• Gravity-bending shots
• Pool on ice
• Moving holes
• Color matching and merging
• Magnets
• Hidden balls and trails
• Chained balls
• One completely unnecessary sword
It's a small indie pixel-art game about experimenting, making questionable shots, figuring out what just happened, and trying again.
If you're looking for a serious billiards simulator, I may have made the wrong game.
Pool, but Wrong
Pool was fine. I fixed it.
