Forebet's Sprint and Marathon Snake modes represent contrasting design philosophies built on the same core grid mechanic.

Marathon wraps walls, reduces instant-death risks, and allows longer exploratory runs where spatial planning across the full grid determines survival length.

Sprint sets the snake to maximum speed immediately, making it the shortest and most reaction-intensive of the three modes, plan less, react faster, or die quickly.

In Marathon, the grid fills gradually over a long run and strategic routing pays off over dozens of food catches; in Sprint, a single mistimed turn can end the session in under ten seconds.

Both modes maintain separate score histories and are playable offline without a login; they reward entirely different skill sets despite sharing the same snake mechanics.
