Application dedicated to tourism and to the exploitation of the territory through integration, based on georeferencing of Tourist Activities, Points of Interest (over 25 categories) and Events (over 20 categories).

IdeasForTravels is a new georeferenced multisector tourism Portal which allows you to explore a territory by searching for Points of Interest and Events and once you have found what you are looking for, with the function "Search Around" you can found Tourist Activities and Promotions in the nearby; or you can start from Tourist Activities and the App will show you what to see and visit in the area. A real “Single Point Of Contact”.

The App is currently active only for the Italian territory but, in anticipation of its expansion, information on other 26 European countries have been already recorded.

Travelers can access the search engine without any registration. With the free registration to www.ideasfortravels.com Portal, they can access the following additional features:

- Multiple E-mails: with a simple click you can send a request via e-mail to all selected Tourist Activities in a specific area: a great time saving in the organization of your holidays.

- Alerts: selecting a particular Country, Region and sector of Tourist Activity, in the case of new Promotions, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the web card of the Tourist Activity. Alerts can be removed at any time.

- Detection of other Travelers: you can share your GPS location with other Travelers, you can contact them and know what is around them: Tourist Activities, Promotions, Points of Interest, Events.

- Planning and organizing a trip: you can organize a trip by putting all its stages or "withdraw" an itinerary from IdeasForTravels database: the Portal, for each stage, provides you the ability to view Tourist Activities, Points of Interest, Events … allowing you to send multiple e-mails requesting for information or booking.

- Discovery service: you can activate the service by scanning the territory. The device will automatically detect your position and will notify you Tourist Activities, Points of Interest, Promotions, other Travellers ... in the nearby.

Tourist Activities: by registering to www.ideasfortravels.com Portal, they will be able to access the following features:

- Entering data of the Activity. The information, text, links, images and video clips can be edited at any time in a restricted area.

- Inserting brochures in PDF format.

- Putting on their own Promotions, based on Events, and Special Initiatives which will be automatically geotagged.

- Adding Points of Interest and Events (also made by Tourist Agencies) and it will report the logo of who has entered the data.

- Each card of Tourist Activity, Point of Interest and Event has a "Search around" button which allows you to explore the surrounding area.

- E-Card: Tourist Activities will be able to send an e-mail to Travellers containing a message and the link to the website, the brochure (if loaded) and Points of Interest and Events within 30 Km from the Activity will be automatically included.

- The Portal can also manage Points of Interest and Events related to Expo Milan 2015, WWF, FAI and LIPU.

Developed for Android 2.2 and above versions.

The App is in English, with Italian and English content and is integrated with the Android Route Navigator.
