Marvel Future Fight was released on April 30th, 2015. I started the game very early and quickly got hooked by their depiction of the Marvel universe. If you are familiar with Marvel at all, you’ll instantly recognize both heroes and villains in the future fight game that you can collect and fight. I love the character collecting and building aspect to the future fight game. Once you’ve passed the introductory lessons to playing the game, you can start to look for and collect your favorite superheroes and supervillains. You’ll be able to see all of the available characters in the game and you can embark on missions to collect them. There were a ton of characters that I remembered and instantly wanted to collect, as well as numerous characters that I had forgotten about or was unfamiliar with.

One of the huge things that I enjoy about the game is that there are both PvE and PvP in future fight aspects to it. If you’re the type of player that is just there to collect your favorite characters but you’re not really into fighting other players, you can focus on that. But if you like to build teams and test your setup against other players, you can do that too. An aspect that I was a bit disappointed with is the social setup of the game. You can connect with friends and create alliances, but the social aspect to the game seems a little bit dead. There are numeric incentives to join an alliances and fill up your friends list, but I can’t see myself connecting with my real life friends to play the game. It just isn’t that type of game. Hopefully the developers will add things in the future fight that make playing and working with your friends a benefit and fun. [ more ]
