2016 Annual Conference will be held at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, FL from Saturday, June 11 – Wednesday, June 15.

The theme this year, “Volunteer, Be Part of Your FGFOA”, carries over from my speech at the last conference where we emphasized the importance of volunteers to this organization and asked you to step up. Many of you did and this conference, as with every past conference, is a testament to the amazing things that can be done when our volunteers work together.

The Program Committee stepped up and put together a top notch schedule of speakers to educate you about the latest trends in Economics, Accounting, Budget, and Finance. But don’t worry, your favorites from GASB will be there as well to enlighten and entertain as only they can. The two-day Beginner Boot Camp was such a success last year that we are doing it again.

The 2016 Host Committee stepped up as well and has planned several networking opportunities during the conference that will make the stay at the World Marriott a memorable experience for you and your guests.
