Voice commands

ezeTorch has a simple set of instructions. Here's how to get started:

✅ To turn on the torch, say "on" or "light".

✅ To turn off the torch, say "off" or "dark".

✅ To set the strobe level, say a number between 0 and 9, such as "zero", "one", "two", up to "nine". You can also use the slider to set the strobe.

✅ To start an SOS distress call, say "sos" or "help", and the phrase will be transmitted continuously in morse code. Selecting another strobe level, or turning off the torch will stop the signal.

✅ Say "privacy" or "ads" to view your privacy settings (EU only).

✅ Say "review" to rate the app.

Voice reset

Sometimes the audio listening feature is inactive when you load the app, or after a result has been spoken. If it becomes inactive you can reset it by clicking on the menu icon and then the "VOICE RESET" button 🔴. You should hear the audio prompts when it is ready. 🎵

Limitations

❗️Only works for English language speakers

❗️If you have a strong regional dialect, or are a non native speaker, the translation may be less accurate or may not work

❗️Stay within microphone range of your phone for the app to pick up your voice

❗️App may not function correctly if you are on medication, drugs or have a voice related illness or disability
