Droppa is a private calendar into which others a can drop events into rather than a subscription calendar which requires multiple users.

Droppa acts as a calendar hub that will also display entries that have been entered into your other external calendars. You can create drops from these entries to share with your contacts.

Your contacts get access to your diary and you access to theirs.

You cannot see other other's diaries but you have the ability to "drop" events into each other's schedules. All by push!

Droppa means that the family calendar is with you at all times and everyone can send you, or you can send them, drops inviting you to events or just keeping you up to date with what’s going on. Social gatherings, meeting up with friends, kid’s activities, work occasions, medical appointments, anything – it’s all in Droppa!

Droppa is an easy scheduler that lets you organize, invite or just inform your phone’s contacts of events or activities. Droppa is smartphone based and lets your contacts “drop” events into your schedule or, conversely, lets you “Drop” events into your contacts' schedules.

And because only the phone’s contacts can drop then it’s safer for children to use aswell.

All users will be able to group their contacts into social groups such as family, friends, colleagues, clubs etc. All users will be able to send “Drops” instantaneously and inform contacts by push notification. The “Drops” will contain details of activities or events which, upon acceptance, will automatically enter their contact’s calendars forming a viewable daily/weekly/monthly schedule. The user will therefore be kept informed about activities they need or wish to be aware of. Users will also be able to “share” drops thereby keeping other users informed about activities.

Each “Drop” becomes its own chat-room allowing attendees to discuss and chat about the event.
