Messenger for the Croconaut network (texting for free)

Croconaut Messenger provides free texting - you don't need any Internet nor mobile data connection, messages are transmitted using Wi-Fi antenna only (built in your phone). That means you don't need any local network, any mobile provider... messages jump from one phone to another, completely transparent to the user.

Feel free to try it out in your school, on a football match, festivals, concerts, ... anywhere where the classic mobile signal is unreachable and/or too expensive. The more of you there is, the faster delivery you can expect.

In comparison to Firechat (which has very similar goals), our app works (in the first place ;)) and it works even when your phone is in the sleep mode. You don't have to pay attention to it at all.

WARNING: this is the first version, there's no security whatsoever, don't reveal any private information in messages.

P.S. As you might have noticed, this is a 0.9 version, i.e. more like a beta. Feel free to comment/report any bugs you encounter! And of course, we're happy to hear your positive experiences as well ;) Also, don't be disappointed by the speed of delivery, next version will be much faster and working on tablets, too.
