It is always a challenge to visit Athens, with its remarkable history and civilisation, offering many monuments and sights, especially if you are not familiar with it.

The TfA Tourist Tour Planner is a mobile app that makes your stay in Athens easier. You can now plan all your tours, meet your personal preferences, saving time, and not missing out on anything.

With this new app you may tour around the most popular and interesting areas of Athens, Piraeus, and their suburbs. Select from a list of monuments, galleries, and other less known remarkable sights, all according to your own interests and tastes.

The TfA Tourist Tour Planner gives you the perfect overview to utilise your day(s), and also shows you how to reach any of your points of interest, all in one single app:

o Sightseeing: museums, exhibitions, theater, children´s entertainment and also beaches, nature, monuments, …

o Get around: the best routes to reach those destinations, walking or by public transport, including the tariff and finding the lowest fare.

And how does it work? As simple as the following steps!

o STEP 1: Choose what you want to visit: where, when, and what you are interested in.

The TfA Tourist Tour Planner was developed as part of the European HoPE FP7 research project. It is an open management platform, capable of combining different services oriented towards a more efficient and sustainable use of public transport and awareness of eco-mobility. Our app is completely free and ad-free.
