Forecast world and personal events with friends for points and prizes.

Cassie is a new app where you share your predictions on the outcome of global and personal events, earning points when predictions become reality. Users can forecast the outcome of all sorts of "casties" (aka events/questions). You earn points for correct predictions and are competing for a spot on our Leaderboard.

Once the castie ends (i.e. the event occurs), you are notified if you were correct or not. You can then also see what your friends forecasted. How do you stack up? Can you predict better than your friends?

We also have a "personal casties" section where you can create your own casties. Personal casties are completely private so only you and the friends you choose can forecast them. Personal casties allow you to forecast life events: "Which of our friends will get engaged next?", "When will Bob retire?", whatever you want!

Our goal is to provide a formal outlet to all of our informal predictions, no matter how trivial. We're all constantly making predictions about the future, everything from "Which of our friends will get engaged next?" to "What will Kim and Kanye name their next child?" and "Who will become the next President?". Cassie provides one central location for us to place those forecasts and keep track of our accuracy.
