beamSmart lets you capture life events and share them with private communities.

For the UMBC Community:

1. Create an account at the Sign Up screen.

2. When inside the app select the “Assist” tab at the bottom right

3. Select “Join a Community”

4. Search “UMBCAssist” and join.

Your phone will now be configured to communicate with UMBC Campus Police.

locations, videos and audio. You can broadcast feeds from your camera, start video chats, share GPS, and relay content from devices such as security cameras, vehicle sensors... anything.

If it generates content, you can beam it.
