Application of the Agroforestry Network that gathers information about Agroforestry

This application aims to create a database of collective knowledge about agroforestry that collaborates for the dissemination of knowledge in this way of making agriculture with sustainability and offers tools that farmers can use in the implementation and maintenance of these systems.

Functionalities:

- Species catalog: A list containing the cultivars and their information on cycle, stratum, spacing, harvest time, companion plants, indications for use, etc;

- Quiz: Asks questions about stratum, cycle, spacing of each plant in order to popularize through collective knowledge and artificial intelligence the database;

- Posts: Post center where anyone can post an article, photo, video, event;

- Cultivation guides: List and form for registering agroforestry guides;

- Library: Here all the content posted on the platform will be stored in an organized and accessible way;

- Events: Events center on agroforestry such as courses, lectures, experiences, etc;

- CSAs: Page on the Communities that support agriculture with a map of the CSAs registered with CSA Brasil.

- Forum: A space for all kinds of discussions related to Agroforestry and Agroecology;

- Lunar calendar: Shows which phase of the moon we are in and what is best to do in that phase.

Next objectives:

- Planting simulator: Using the plant catalog database, create an artificial intelligence algorithm that will generate the ideal planting design from the seeds and seedlings that the user has;

- Distributed seed bank: The idea is for each user to register the seeds they have to donate and find the seeds they need, forming a distributed seed bank;

- Agroforestry Baskets: allow users to sell their Agroecological baskets within the Network;

- Agroforestry map: real map of the country with agroforestry projects registered by the community using geolocation;

- Agroforestry TV: Video player with content posted by users.

Characteristics:

1. Shared responsibility: All content is created, maintained and / or changed by the community itself;

2. Anyone can create or change any content;

3. The source code is open (open source);

4. Some information must be available even if the user is not logged in (offline first);

5. Advertising is only allowed for courses, activities and publications related to Agrofloresta;

6. It must be accessible on any web platform, Android and IOS;

7. It can serve as a basis for the creation of new related technologies.

8. Provide an api so that other technologies can use this database.
