WHAT IS THE SCIENCE AND ART CENTER (BİLSEM)?

The Center for Science and Arts is an independent private school opened to provide support training outside of school hours to students who are recognized by special talents in general talent (mental), visual arts or music, attending formal education institution.

Science and Art Centers are not an alternative educational institution to formal schools, but an educational institution that supports formal education institutions.

SCIENCE AND ART CENTER - WHAT CLASSES ARE STUDENTS TAKING?

Each year, the Ministry determines which grade levels students will be admitted to the Science and Art Center. In line with the decision of the Ministry, in 2016-2017, diagnoses were made in primary schools 1,2 and 3.

HOW DOES THE BILSEM STUDENT PROCESS PROCESS?

In order to determine the special talented students to be admitted to Science and Art Centers, students from the grade levels determined by the Ministry within the framework of the diagnostic calendar determined by the Ministry each year, using the observation forms prepared by the Ministry as general talent (mental), visual arts or music as special talent candidate in the field of visual arts or music. It is shown.

Students who are nominated as candidates are taken to the group screening exam prepared by the Ministry on a date determined by the Ministry.

Students who pass the threshold scores determined for each grade level each year, according to the Ministry in Turkey Group screening test results to individual examination by certified experts. In the individual examination, a valid, reliable and standard intelligence test is applied to the students.

Students who are nominated in the field of visual arts and / or music talent and who pass the dam scores determined by the Ministry for visual arts and music talent fields according to the results of the group screening exam are taken to the individual examination in the visual arts and / or music talent field by the Provincial Diagnostic Commission.

According to all three areas made individual examination of the Ministry of Education Special Education and Guidance Services General Directorate for each grade level and the designated Turkey dams for every ability of the students are enrolled in the Arts and Sciences Center.
