Prayer times with a database of 175,000 cities and geographic regions without internet access

Azan Everywhere is a self-functional automatic application that works on Android operating systems, designed in a distinct way to calculate the five daily prayers times with the sunrise time for any geographical area whose coordinates are known by their longitude, latitude, latitude, time zone to which UTC belongs, and the angle of their deviation from the sun, Declination, Powered by a continuous service that performs the call to prayer on time, in addition to several other valuable functions.

Among the most important features of the application of the call to prayer everywhere is its independent, integrated internal design, in which it does not depend on any external information source or external processing source. All his needs, functions, equations and accounts are built inside and from scratch. Therefore, a database has been built with approximately 175,000 addresses of geographical regions spread around the world representing cities, suburbs, villages, rural areas, islands, populated areas, etc.

Below is a brief review of the most important characteristics and features that distinguish the application of the call to prayer everywhere, from other similar applications.

First: it works without an Internet connection

The call to prayer everywhere, works without requiring an internet connection. But there are three situations in which the system needs to access the Internet once, and for a period not exceeding one minute, to carry out a specific task. These specific tasks are side tasks that can be summarized in the following cases:

The first case: while performing the registration process or addressing the server.

This is because this matter needs to contact and address the server, and this task is only carried out via the Internet. This process is executed once, specifically when the application is first run.

The second case: when determining the direction of the qiblah.

The application depends on knowing the direction of the qibla on the service provided by Google. It is truly a great service. Although the application can set the four directions east, west, north and south in addition to the direction of qibla direction for any geographical area, it was better to rely on this wonderful service, because of the accuracy of its control in knowing the correct direction of the qiblah. This service, provided by Google, also gives you additional information intended to measure the Kaaba’s distance from your current location in kilometers.

The third case: when determining the coordinates of the geographical location

If the user wants to read the coordinates of his geographical location and store it, and rely on it later to calculate the prayer times, then this needs to connect to the internet, to reach the highest degree of accuracy in calculating the prayer times.

Second: Recursion Theorem

The theory of re-treatment has a great benefit if it is used correctly. It is a major requirement and necessary to apply the call to prayer everywhere. Therefore, this theory has been adopted in calculating prayer times, and it was a reason for adding a new value and a nice feature that was not available in any of the similar applications, and it is summarized in calculating prayer times for geographical regions other than the geographical area used, as if the user was physically present in them.

To illustrate this addition, we give the following example:

While in Abu Dhabi, the user can view the prayer times in Riyadh or New York and their prayer times as if they were in Riyadh or New York. In such cases, the application will maintain two separate times.

Third: Notification Service

The call to prayer everywhere contains the service of displaying the permanent notification completely separately from the application, as this service displays the data of the remaining time for upcoming prayer times, and the state of hearing the call to prayer in it. This would ensure the continuity of the application's work without interruption or interruption that it might suddenly be exposed to, and also secure its work when restarting the device.

Fourth: The ability to store the coordinates of the current location

As previously mentioned, the call to prayer everywhere contains a database of 175,000 cities and geographic regions. The user determines his geographical area or his city of residence by searching for it and choosing it from the database.

However, Tamsaml may want to use the coordinates of the neighborhood in which it lives, to obtain prayer times dates with a higher level of accuracy, in this case, the application allows him to store the coordinates of the current geographic location, and treats these new values as the coordinates of the geographic region or the chosen city. It maintains its use until it is changed or any amendment is made to it.

Fifth: Modifying the differences of the five daily prayers during sunrise

The application contains a feature to adjust the differences in prayer times to set them.
